This word was scribbled with a somewhat translucent ink. The pen was held at about 45°, and the script shows a great deal of shading. The descender tapers and are very short. A clumsy, horned æ is found, the left side of which is vertical, the middle stroke forming the back of the two components is angled at about 45°, the tongue starts at mid-height and rises, and the hook rises at about 45° but then turns down to the vertical to meet the tongue. Bilinear d was used, although the back is vertical-tipped. Slightly backward-leaning horned e is found, the tongue and hook of which are like those of æ. The tongue of f is short and on the base-line, but the hook is quite angular and rises above cue-height before turning down at the tip. The top of g is slightly concave up and tapers somewhat, and the mid-section is short, very angular, and turns sharply into a fairly long horizontal section before curving around in a wide closed loop.
