Glosses 1–5 and 41 are inked, pace Ker, Catalogue, p. 92 (no. 52). These glosses have a somewhat irregular appearance due largely to the varying thickness and unevenness of the strokes. Ascenders are short but heavily wedged, and no descenders are found. Caroline a was used throughout. The back of d is relatively long and angled at about 60° but vertical-tipped. Round e was used and has a long thin tongue and round top. Caroline f, g, h, and r were all used. The form of g is not unlike a majuscule S but with an additional stroke in the upper hook which forms the bowl. Caroline r is deeply split.
