The glosses are in a small hand written with a thin pen but with some shading. Ascenders are long and have small wedges but descenders are short. Minims are fairly upright, with small approach-strokes and feet. The bodies of æ and e are both very round, and the tongues are long and very thin. Round d was used, with a fairly long, thick, and curving back. The body of h is very small. The only occurrence of s is in a very tall, very narrow s+t ligature. Caroline r was used, and the ascender of þ is very short; ð does not appear, but there is no scope in the text for it to do so.
