This hand is more tall and narrow than G.917-1, and a narrower pen was used. Ascenders are longer than minims and have small wedges. Descenders are of similar length, wave slightly, and are tapering. Minims have small thick approach-strokes and small rising feet. Two examples of a are more or less teardrop-shaped but the third is Caroline. A similar point-topped or semi-Caroline a was used for æ. A small hook is found on c, the south-west quadrant of which is somewhat angular. The back of d is short and angled at about 30°. Horned e is found with an angular south-west quadrant like that of c; the hook is angular and the tongue rising. A bulging tall e is once found in ligature with following low s. The top of g is flat but short, the mid-section curves smoothly, and the tail is closed in a long oblong. Only low s is found. The only examples of þ and ð are þe and æðel respectively. The back of ð is very long, very straight, and angled at about 60°, and the through-stroke is hooked down on the right. No f, x, y, or z is found.
