Gneuss, Handlist of Anglo-Saxon Manuscripts (G. 317)
Burchard of Worms, Decretum : s. xi med. (after 1049), Continent, (prov. CaCC?).
Gneuss, Addenda and corrigenda to the Handlist of Anglo-Saxon Manuscripts
The earlier, main part of the manuscript comprises fols. 5–169 [not 8–169]. Burchard’s Decretum is preceded (on 5–7v) by a copy of the Notitia Galliarum (list of provinces etc. of Gaul) and two papal letters, one by Leo I, the other by Zosimus. For these, and for the text type of the Decretum, see Lotte Kéry, Canonical Collections of the Early Middle Ages (ca. 400–1140) (Washington, DC, 1999), p. 137.
