Gneuss, Handlist of Anglo-Saxon Manuscripts (G. 141)

Psalterium Gallicanum° (f) : s. xi med., prov. Flanders by 1069, Bruges from 1087?

Gneuss, Addenda and corrigenda to the Handlist of Anglo-Saxon Manuscripts

These fragments may be the remains of a book once owned by Gunhild, the daughter of Earl Godwine (not Gunhild, the daughter of King Cnut). Cf. N. R. Ker, Catalogue of Manuscripts Containing Anglo-Saxon (Oxford, 1957), no. 403. I am discussing this possible identification in a forthcoming paper.
