Hand: Scribble (scurfede hors, ii verso), Bodleian Auctarium F.3.6 (2666)

This scribble was written in a very rough hand and is obscured in parts by creases in the very thin and fragile parchment. The hand is fairly upright, with straight ascenders and descenders, the former about minim-length and thickening slightly at the top and the latter about the same length but straight. Round c was used, but with a fairly straight and steep back. The same back was used for the first e, and the second is even straighter and more upright. The hooks of e are both quite angular and the tongues straight and rising. The shoulders of r are quite rounded, and h is Caroline. Long s was used with a fairly wide hook and a descender which drops slightly below the base-line.
