These glosses show long split ascenders and short straight descenders. Minims have approach-strokes and usually lack feet. Flat-topped a was used on 31r but teardrop-shaped a is found elsewhere. The back of d is short, fairly straight, and angled at about 50–60°. Round e is found with a straight rising tongue and low hook, except for 31r where the letter is horned, the tongue horizontal and at cue-height, and the hook extends above cue-height. The shoulders of h, m, and n are somewhat rounded. Caroline f and g were used throughout, as was tall s, and Caroline r was used on 11r but Insular r elsewhere. Bilinear dotted round y was used on 13v.
